“What we love determines what we seek. What we seek determines what we think and do. What we think and do determines who we are — and who we will become.” ― Dieter F. Uchtdorf

A Real Man

The other week I finally sent in my netflix movie that I have had for 2 months and received another one......The Good The Bad and The Ugly
I had just 3 things to say about that movie:
1. It was legit
2. It was insanely long
3. Clint Eastwood was a HUNK back in the day. (and he knows how to handle a gun and ride a horse)
Although there was nothing special at all with his acting skills, it didn't matter. Because he was a good looking cowboy. I love old western movies. They are just awesome. And the theme music has been stuck in my head all week.
If you've never seen it, go watch it.....but be prepared to have to watch it several different times because you may fall asleep. (or maybe that was just because I always started it at 1 in the morning)

Another One of Those Sunday Parties.....

Making my pink cake for the cake balls at about 1:30am
My finished cake balls dipped in milk chocolate
and sprinkled with dark chocolate
This weeks theme: DESSERT PARTY

Our spread consisted of:
No Bake cookies
Shortbread (heart shaped) cookies with pink cream cheese frosting
Butterfinger cookies
Oatmeal chocolate chip cookies
Cake Balls
Ghirardelli Chocolate cookies
Brownies with frosting
Funfetti cupcakes with pink frosting
English Creme Cake
Muddie Buddies

Our apartment decided we wanted to start holding parties at least every other Sunday. Yesterday was our first attempt and it basically rocked. We had SO many people show up and half of them we didn't even know. They just heard from a friend who knew a guy who knew someone else. Our apartment was PACKED. And the best part was the guy to girl ratio...about 3 to 1. Not really heard of at BYU-Idaho, but we played our cards right. It was a ton of fun, met new people and chatted with old friends.

Next Sunday party's theme: Nacho Night
